Fooling myself

I need to be realistic when I set a plate in front of me about the calories, fat and other stuff I don't really like to think about in it.

I need to make several appointments: counselor, eye doc, gyn, dentist.

I need to keep being kind to myself and keeping those harsh criticisms away.

yeah. i think the biggest part of losing weight is simply portion control. it's ok to eat high calorie, fatty things here and there. but everything in moderation.

another good tip for the dinner table is to serve your plates in the kitchen and only take your plate to the table, and not the serving bowls of food. that way you'd have to get up from the table to get seconds, and instead you can make a beeline to the sink to wash your plate!!
